An employer is seeking an IT Security Project Manager to join their team remotely. This role will be part of a newly formed security organization. This security portfolio is currently being built out to improve overall security practices for the company. As this new group is being built out, they are focusing on vendor security, application security, and vulnerability management. The IT Security Project Manager will be responsible for helping push things forward within the cyber world from a project management and coordination perspective including documentation and analysis. This person will also help develop policy and procedures as it relates to security, security dashboarding within PowerBI, and tracking of security metrics. This resource will directly support IT security staff for overall project planning and security operations.
4+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager or Project Coordinator within IT Security
Previously experience creating dashboarding utilizing PowerBI
Strong experience with MS Office Suite/Office 365
Strong understanding of overall security policy and procedures to make recommendations for improvements
