Insight Global seeks a highly qualified Remote Product Owner to join our software development team, which will develop data analytics and forecasting applications for a global leader in the aerospace industry. The client's office location is in the area of Hartford, CT, but team members may work remotely (within compatible time zones).
This team will follow the Scrum framework in developing sophisticated new solutions for data consolidation, analysis and forecasting for the client's supply chain. The team will operate within a large enterprise environment, working with business stakeholders to develop important new capabilities supporting their global supply-chain operations.
-MUST be a U.S. Citizen
-Thorough understanding of the Product Owner role within the Scrum framework, indicated by 5+ years of experience in PO (and/or Product Manager) roles with Agile teams
-Demonstrated ability to discover customer needs and elaborate in successive levels of detail, from product vision to actionable backlog items.
-Experience guiding a product from early phase to production release
-Previous experience developing complex data systems that comprise multiple data sources, intermediate data stores (e.g., data warehouse or data lake), querying, reporting, data visualization.
-Bachelor's Degree in Information Science or related discipline
-Polished technical writing and presentation skills
-Familiarity with data reporting and visualization tools
-Scrum-related certifications from Agile Alliance or Scrum.org
