Job Description

An employer is looking for a Backend Focused Python/JavaScript Developer to sit Remotely. You will be working on the clients search engine similar to a "google" that will allow users to search for the data needed and request access. Responsible for defining and delivering stable, resilient APIs to allow access to terabytes of data with strict latency requirements. Develop data pipelines that transform raw transaction data into meaningful summaries and actionable insight. Design systems for high-performance and availability. Understand how to use metrics to monitor a back-end service to improve its performance and ensure the most accurate data. Work with cross-functional teams to get changes into production environment using CI/CD. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design to implementation. You will ship production code to a large customer base, and will take full ownership of your work, including testing and deployments. You will collaborate with other software engineers, domain experts, and end-users, to build the right solutions that address our business needs. You know how to navigate an organization to find the people and answers you need. You know how to make engineering trade-offs and how to communicate them to others. You can prioritize many competing tasks on an aggressive timeline. You are passionate about learning -- about healthcare as well as technology. You are entrepreneurial, business-minded, and are willing to take risks and advocate new ideas

Required Skills & Experience

Strong Python Development skills

2+ years of experience with Angular/React or JavaScript

2+ years of SQL programming

CS Fundamentals and Software System Design Principles

Experience working with or creating APIs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Understand of backend OOP language (java, c#, python, etc)

Node.js framework

Prior healthcare experience
