Job Description
The Senior Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects by driving coordination, readiness, and execution across assigned scopes of work. Acting as an extension of the owner/operator team, this individual works closely with construction, engineering, project controls, procurement, and commissioning stakeholders to ensure decisions, actions, and commitments are tracked through completion. The role focuses on identifying risks early, maintaining project visibility, and facilitating informed decision-making to keep projects progressing efficiently.
This position serves as a bridge between project controls and construction management, providing leadership in reporting, stakeholder coordination, procurement tracking, turnover readiness, and process improvement. The Senior Project Engineer also mentors junior team members, improves project workflows, and helps enhance overall project execution on fast-paced, complex construction programs.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, -Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
-4+ years of experience in construction, project engineering, project controls, or a related project delivery role.
-Demonstrated ability to manage coordination and drive action items to resolution across multiple stakeholders.
-Experience supporting large-scale construction projects in fast-paced environments.
-Strong understanding of project reporting, risk management, issue tracking, and project readiness processes.
-Experience tracking procurement activities, long-lead equipment, and owner-furnished equipment (OFCI).
-Proficiency with Procore (or similar construction management platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively escalate and prioritize issues.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, or other complex infrastructure projects.
-Owner-side, operator-side, or developer project experience.
-Familiarity with construction scheduling tools and schedule-driven project execution.
-Experience supporting commissioning, turnover, and operational readiness activities.
-Experience mentoring junior project engineers or project team members.
-Knowledge of MEP, CSA, utility, substation, or energy infrastructure construction scopes.
-Track record of improving project controls, reporting systems, or coordination processes.
-Self-starter who thrives in a highly collaborative, on-site project environment.
