Sustainability Program Manager

Seeking a Sustainability Data & Reporting Program Manager to support greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions measurement, reporting, and compliance initiatives. This role is heavily focused on Scope 3 emissions reporting, carbon accounting, sustainability analytics, and data integrity.

This position is best described as a Sustainability Analyst / Carbon Accounting / Reporting hybrid rather than a traditional Program Manager role. The individual will support climate-related data reporting, sustainability initiatives, and emissions analysis while helping ensure reporting accuracy, process consistency, and regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities
Own Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions data collection, validation, calculations, and reporting.
Partner with internal stakeholders to gather, validate, and audit sustainability data.
Ensure data accuracy before upload into Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.
Build and maintain consolidated reporting, dashboards, and executive-level reporting packages.
Apply GHG Protocol standards to emissions calculations and lifecycle assessment data.
Support sustainability audits, process improvements, and climate reporting initiatives.
Research sustainability frameworks and reporting standards including ESG, SASB, CDP, and TCFD.
Analyze large environmental datasets and maintain rigorous controls around reporting accuracy.

2-3+ years of sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas accounting, carbon accounting, or ESG analytics experience.
Strong understanding of GHG Protocol and Scope 3 emissions.
Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, reporting, and large dataset management.
Strong analytical, research, and data validation experience.
Experience working with environmental, sustainability, or emissions-related data.
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

Scope 3 emissions calculations.
Lifecycle assessments (LCA).
Salesforce Net Zero Cloud or similar carbon accounting software.
ESG or sustainability consulting experience.
Public accounting background.
Experience supporting sustainability reporting within large enterprises.
