Job Description

The Senior Construction Manager (CSA) is responsible for leading the civil, structural, and architectural delivery of large-scale construction projects from early site development through building turnover. This role oversees execution across all CSA scopes, including sitework, foundations, structural systems, building envelope, and architectural finishes, while ensuring alignment with project objectives for safety, quality, schedule, and cost. The Senior Construction Manager serves as the primary owner representative for CSA activities and drives accountability among contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Working closely with cross-functional construction, engineering, procurement, commissioning, and project controls teams, this individual proactively identifies and mitigates project risks, manages discipline budgets, reviews technical documentation, and ensures turnover readiness. The role also provides leadership to construction management staff and supports successful project delivery in fast-paced, complex construction environments.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil -Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
-12+ years of construction management experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, infrastructure, mission-critical, or complex development projects.
-Strong experience managing civil, structural, and architectural construction scopes, including earthwork, foundations, structural steel, building envelope, and interior buildout.
-Proven ability to lead contractors and trade partners while driving accountability for project execution, schedule, quality, and safety performance.
-Experience reviewing construction documents, technical submittals, RFIs, change orders, and field modifications.
-Strong understanding of budgeting, cost forecasting, procurement activities, and change management processes.
-Experience leading and developing construction teams on complex projects.
-Proficiency with Procore (or similar construction management software), Microsoft Office Suite, and construction scheduling tools.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience delivering data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, energy, manufacturing, or other highly technical facilities.
-Owner-side, operator-side, or developer construction management experience.
-Knowledge of commissioning, turnover planning, and operational readiness processes.
-Experience with long-lead equipment coordination, site logistics planning, and contractor sequencing.
-Familiarity with municipal permitting, environmental compliance, and building code requirements.
-Strong background in contract administration, trade partner management, and complex change order negotiations.
-Experience coordinating closely with MEP, utilities, or infrastructure teams on integrated projects.
-Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced project environments.
