Job Description

A leading defense technology company specializing in high-power directed energy laser systems is seeking an Electronics & Integration Technician to join its Electrical Engineering team in Longmont, CO. This individual will play a hands-on role supporting the assembly, integration, testing, and validation of advanced electrical and electronic systems used in next-generation defense applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and troubleshooting cable and harness assemblies, supporting PCB testing and modifications, installing and routing electronics using engineering documentation, and assisting with system-level integration activities. This person will also be responsible for managing electronic components and materials, maintaining traceability throughout the integration process, and supporting laboratory operations and equipment upkeep. This role is based onsite in Longmont, CO with a 5 day/week onsite schedule. The starting pay range for this role is between $30-$45/hr, and compensation will be based on experience, technical qualifications, and overall fit for the position.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience working with electrical cable and harness systems, preferably related to high-powered laser technology
Experience with PCB Testing
Ability to interpret schematics and drawings
Experience assembling and testing electromechanical systems
Some experience with a CAD software, Solidworks preferred
