Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our client's growing team in Lamar, Colorado. The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patient rehabilitation and recovery. This role focuses on implementing prescribed treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and making guided adjustments to interventions to ensure safety and effectiveness. The PTA works with patients across all age groups in various care settings such as inpatient, outpatient, and home health. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment are essential.

General work schedule is Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM. Will be placed in a weekend rotation, as needed.

Pay range: $23.09 - $28.40 per hour based on experience. Required Skills & Experience

- Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) through a CAPTE-accredited associate degree program
- Active PTA license or credential in the applicable state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to follow and implement treatment plans under supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Hands-on experience assisting with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to document patient progress and track treatment outcomes
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations across all age groups
- Willingness to work occasional weekends as part of a rotational schedule

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- 1-2+ years of experience as a PTA
- Experience in multiple care settings such as inpatient, outpatient, or home health
- Bilingual communication skills
- Familiarity with rehabilitation gym environments or modern therapy equipment
- Experience working with a collaborative healthcare team
