Job Description
An employer in Boulder, CO is seeking mid- to senior-level Model-Based Systems Engineers (MBSE) to support critical U.S. Space Force programs, including missile defense and missile warning systems. This role sits at the intersection of requirements, system design, and integration/testing, supporting advanced space-domain engineering initiatives.
This is a high-impact opportunity to join a mission-focused engineering team working within a fast-paced, multi-contractor environment, leveraging both traditional systems engineering and modern digital engineering practices (MBSE, DevSecOps, Agile).
This is a permanent, full time role posted at $110,000 - $195,000/year based on skill level, skillset, and tenure. This role is on site 5 days a week at the customer facility in Boulder, CO.

Required Skills & Experience
Active DoD Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
5+ years of systems engineering experience, with direct application of MBSE methodologies
Hands-on experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo/MagicDraw)
Experience with requirements development, management, and traceability (e.g., DOORS)
Experience with configuration/baseline management tools (e.g., ARAS)
Exposure to digital engineering tools (e.g., MATLAB, STK, Ansys ModelCenter)
Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle and systems engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
