Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Software Integration & Test Engineer to support software verification, validation, and integration efforts within a complex technology environment. This engineer will develop and execute test plans, automate testing processes, validate system functionality, and partner closely with development teams to ensure quality, performance, and reliability requirements are met. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and driving software quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle.
This position will pay between $42-67/hr (career level-experienced).

Required Skills & Experience
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
2+ years of software engineering experience
1+ year of software integration and/or testing experience
Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases
Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
Experience troubleshooting software integration or performance issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate across engineering teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Active Secret Clearance
Test automation development experience
Experience building automated test frameworks
Experience testing web applications and APIs
Java or other object-oriented programming experience
Experience supporting software deployments and integration activities
Experience identifying software security vulnerabilities
Open-source software experience
Experience supporting regulated or secure technology environments
Agile development experience using Jira, Confluence, or related tools
