Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a DevSecOps Software Engineer to support the modernization of a mission-critical satellite communications platform. This engineer will design, automate, and maintain secure development and deployment environments while supporting infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud integrations, and containerized applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, system reliability, and enabling efficient software delivery across complex environments.

This position will pay between $42-67/hr (career level-experienced).

Required Skills & Experience

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
2+ years of experience supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows environments
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Scripting or automation experience using Python, Bash, Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, or similar
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Active Security+ certification
Active Secret Clearance
Kubernetes administration and orchestration experience
AWS, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure experience
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
Identity and Access Management (IAM) or secrets management experience
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Kibana, or Elasticsearch
Experience supporting regulated or highly secure environments
Agile development experience utilizing Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
