Job Description
This role is responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging application software and systems that deliver logical and data-driven solutions. The Software Engineer will develop and implement updates to support evolving requirements and enhance both new and existing features, while working collaboratively within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team. The position focuses on supporting software development within the integration layer between front-end and back-end components. Responsibilities also include conducting research, partnering with hardware and systems engineers to support system design and functionality, analyzing user needs and system capabilities to resolve technical challenges, and ensuring all development aligns with established software standards.

Required Skills & Experience
STEM Degree
Secret Clearance
Programming experience in Ada, C++, or Java
Software design experience
Experience with software version control tolls such as: Git, KIRA, Confluence, etc.
Ability to travel 10%
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Missile Defense Agency systems.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Experience working in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
Experience programming in GNAT Programming Studio and Visual Studio Code.
Familiarity with Agile software development practices, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and Scaled Agile Framework
2+ years of experience with C++
Ability to maintain and upgrade existing application developed using Ada within a large code base.
Familiarity with CORBA and ACE / TAO or ORBexpress.
