Job Description
A growing organization is seeking a talented and motivated Professional Civil Engineer (PE) to join its technical team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-education experience in the design and entitlement of large-scale commercial or industrial land development projects.
This role involves working alongside a technical team to assess sites across the United States, support due diligence efforts, and contribute to entitlement and site design. Responsibilities also include assisting in planning, design, and development activities to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is critical, as this role requires extensive use of the software for developing engineering drawings, maps, and models.

Required Skills & Experience
• Collaborate on site design and development including layout, grading, road design, stormwater management, and utility planning
• Review technical studies (geotechnical, environmental, and related reports) and provide summaries to senior stakeholders
• Support drafting of development agreements with local agencies
• Create and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
•Perform engineering calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates
• Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations
• Coordinate with municipalities, landowners, and external consultants
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience managing multiple civil and environmental projects simultaneously
• Experience with sustainable or low-impact/green design practices
• Advanced experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (5+ years preferred)
• Experience with Civil 3D pipe networks and add-on tools (e.g., AutoTURN)
• Experience developing cost estimates or opinions of probable costs
• Experience using Civil 3D grading optimization tools
• Strong knowledge of site development, grading, drainage, and utilities design
• Understanding of data center development and operational engineering requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
