Job Description

This organization designs, builds, and operates large-scale data center campuses to support the growing demand for cloud and AI infrastructure. The company provides integrated design, engineering, and operational capabilities to deliver highly scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions across major U.S. markets.
The Vice President – Facilities Engineering is responsible for quality and technical governance across the full facility lifecycle, from design and construction through commissioning, startup, turnover, and steady-state operations.
This role ensures that all facilities are delivered, tested, and operated according to consistent standards, with a strong focus on reliability, readiness, and long-term performance.

Required Skills & Experience

-10+ years in mission-critical infrastructure (data centers, facilities engineering, commissioning, or operations leadership)
-Proven ownership of commissioning programs and acceptance criteria in large-scale or hyperscale environments
-Deep technical expertise in critical MEP systems (power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling, controls/BMS)
-Experience building and leading -QA/QC, audit, and performance improvement programs
-Ability to translate engineering/design intent into field-executable standards and processes
-Strong cross-functional leadership across construction, operations, vendors, and executive stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience in hyperscale environments (large multi-site or 100MW+ data center portfolios)
-Background building or scaling enterprise-level standards, governance, and engineering programs
-Prior ownership of global or multi-site commissioning / operations frameworks
-Experience with advanced data analysis, KPI dashboards, and performance optimization programs
-Exposure to large capital programs beyond construction (retrofits, upgrades, lifecycle management)
-Strong track record of executive-level communication and influencing senior stakeholders
