Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Service Technician to support one of Insight Global’s leading security solutions partners. This individual will play a key role in servicing and supporting existing client sites, ensuring systems are fully operational, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction across all engagements.
In this role, you will be responsible for responding to service calls, executing ongoing Customer Support Programs (CSPs), and supporting small-to-mid-sized project work. This includes troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading existing systems while also assisting with new installations and system enhancements as needed.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with a variety of low-voltage security systems, including:
• Access control systems (card readers and credentialing systems)
• CCTV and video surveillance systems
• Intrusion detection systems (locks, alarms)
• IP cameras and networked security devices
You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and programming of these systems, ensuring they are properly integrated and functioning to client specifications.
In addition to technical responsibilities, this role will require strong organizational and leadership skills, as you will often be responsible for:
• Leading small project efforts or service-based initiatives
• Coordinating with customers on-site to understand issues and provide solutions
• Managing timelines, materials, and basic project scope for service-related work
• Communicating effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
This position is ideal for someone who is both technically strong and customer-focused, with the ability to work independently in the field while also contributing to broader project goals.
Compensation: $30–$40/hour, based on experience and skill level
