Ground Systems Test Engineer

We’re seeking a Ground Systems Test Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force in developing and fielding next‑generation Missile Warning, Tactical ISR, and Environmental Monitoring systems. In this role, you’ll plan and execute test and evaluation activities for complex ground software and hardware systems, support system integration efforts, and identify risks early to drive effective mitigation. You’ll work closely with government customers, FFRDCs, and contractor partners to define test strategies, support verification and validation, and ensure mission‑critical systems meet performance and reliability requirements.

Plans and executes test and evaluation activities for complex USNDS ground systems supporting missile warning and ISR missions

Develops and maintains TEMPs, test plans, verification matrices, and system integration test documentation

Conducts verification and validation of ground software and hardware, identifying integration risks early

PAY RATE $60-90/HR

6+ years test & evaluation on DoD ground or software systems

Experience creating TEMPs, test plans, verification matrices

Knowledge of systems engineering standards (IEEE 15288)

Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)

Bachelor’s degree
