Job Description
A large federal integrator in the Aurora CO area is looking for a Metrology Engineer. This is a senior level hands on electronics and calibration role. The person ensures measurement equipment works accurately and meets strict government standards. They test, fix, certify, and track specialized electronic equipment used in secure environments. Work is done entirely onsite in Aurora, Colorado. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory on day one.
Compensation:
$48/hr to $72/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
BS Degree and 5+ years of experience
Applicable Military PMEL certification
Experience with manual and automated calibration equipment.
Experience calibrating laboratory working standards and customer TMDE using manual and Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Microsoft Office products, Fluke MET/Team, Fluke MET/CAL, and Keysight TME
Understanding and experience with American National Standards for Calibration: ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANS/ISO/IEC
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Using TMDE to perform voltage, current, resistance, impedance, power, LF/RF/microwave frequency, temperature, physical/dimensional, and fiber optic measurements in a calibration laboratory environment
