Image Quality Test Technician

Insight Global is looking for an Image Quality Test Technician in the Greater Fort Collins area. This individual will set up camera test stations and test camera image quality. We are looking for an engineering technician with a strong knowledge of schematics, building and wiring prototypes, and opto-mechanical prototyping to set up camera test stations. This individual will also be responsible for running test procedures, data analysis, documenting the results, and communicating the results. This is a very hands-on role in which you spend 75/25 working with software and hardware.

Associates/Bachelors in Hardware, Software or Computer Science
Ability read Schematics & Wire Circuits
Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret them
Entry level coding & hardware troubleshooting experience
Ability to write test reports
Ability to understand basic image quality test methods, lab set up and camera operation

Python, or any scripting experience
MatLab
Imatest
Mechanical assembly
Wiring knowledge
Image quality evaluation experience including test chart set up, lighting setup, and camera setup.
Experience with cameras, aperture, lighting, editing, camera module testing, and operation of image sensor development kits.
