Job Description

The Technician III installs, inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs avionics equipment and systems in support of aerospace vehicles. This role performs equipment setup and maintenance activities, uses precision measurement tools, and fabricates fixtures and non‑flight hardware as required. Daily responsibilities include performing precision cleaning and chemistry processes while strictly adhering to shop safety standards, PPE requirements, and best practices. The technician ensures correct packaging and handling of all hardware, maintains 5S standards, and applies FOD and ESD awareness throughout all work activities. The role collaborates closely with team members to deliver high‑quality workmanship, meet project timelines, and document or report any issues or discrepancies identified during inspections and testing. There are four openings supporting electronic racks, and another four openings supporting harness assemblies for satellite products.

These positions are initial 6 month contracts, with likelihood of extension or conversion. The hourly rate for this role is up to $40/hr, based on years of experience and education. Medical, dental and vision are offered throughout the contract.

Required Skills & Experience

Typically 3+ years of related avionics, aerospace, or engineering experience
IPC J-STD-001 Certification
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
Soldering experience
Experience with cabling, harness assembly, or electronic racks
