Job Description

As a Senior Contracts Administrator supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), you will serve as a key business advisor and contracts authority on a high-profile national defense program. Through the IRES (Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions) contract, you will lead contract negotiations, ensure compliance with FAR and DFARS, support high value proposals, and mentor junior contracts staff.

Job Responsibilities:
- Contract Administration
• Support day‑to‑day contract administration, including billing processes, contract modifications, funding limitations, and compliance tracking.
• Draft, review, and audit contractual and proposal documents (e.g., LOF notifications, REAs, BOEs, BOMs, cost proposals) to ensure accuracy and government compliance.
• Track funding and cost performance across task orders, maintain contract documentation, and ensure all deliverables meet contractual timelines and requirements.
- Customer Relations
• Serve as the primary interface with Government customers and the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO), leading contract discussions and resolving contractual issues.
• Support contract negotiations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including project leadership, finance teams, and government representatives.
- Leadership and Management
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to Contracts team members while advising task order leadership on contract risk, structure, and performance metrics.
• Brief senior leadership on contract status, risks, and key issues impacting financial and technical performance.

This is a direct hire position, onsite full-time in Colorado Springs, CO the salary range for this role is between $100,000-120,000/yr depending on years and level of experience, education, and certifications. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance. Required Skills & Experience

- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- 6+ years of directly related experience in: Contract Administration, Proposal Development, Finance, Business Administration, Acquisition, or Procurement
- Experience and familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a strong math aptitude.
