Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead all HR operations across three regions. This role oversees recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and strategic people initiatives, ensuring the HR function aligns with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles. The HR Director will support organizational growth, strengthen workforce stability, and develop consistent HR processes across a multi‑state home-care environment. As the function expands, this leader will also manage and develop a team of Regional HRBPs/Generalists.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy

Lead HR team members, including recruiters and future HRBPs, while driving accountability and alignment with EOS.
Participate in L10s, Rocks, Scorecards, and planning sessions; turn company goals into actionable HR initiatives.
Build scalable HR systems and processes to support operations across multiple states.

Workforce Planning & Recruiting

Oversee recruiting strategy and ensure strong candidate pipelines across all regions.
Partner with clinical and scheduling teams to meet staffing needs and avoid coverage gaps.
Track recruiting KPIs and adjust strategies to support hiring goals.

Employee Relations & Regional Support

Serve as the senior point of contact for complex employee relations issues.
Guide HRBPs on investigations, corrective actions, performance management, ADA/FMLA, and conflict resolution.
Ensure consistent HR practices across all regions while respecting local differences.

Compliance & Risk Management

Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Oversee HR policy development and ensure adherence to healthcare‑related regulations.
Support leaders in preparation for audits and regulatory reviews.

Culture, Engagement & Retention

Champion the organization’s mission, values, and culture in alignment with EOS.
Implement engagement and retention initiatives that support employee wellbeing and reduce turnover.
Monitor people metrics such as turnover, retention, and training compliance.

Benefits, Compensation & Payroll (Oversight)

Collaborate with the Executive Assistant on benefits-related strategy and escalations.
Partner with Finance on payroll accuracy, compensation modeling, and equitable pay practices.
Support job architecture and wage structure consistency.

Training & Development

Oversee training programs for managers, HR teams, and new hires.
Support leadership development initiatives and HR capability building.
Work with clinical and operations leaders to ensure staff competency and training compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.

· 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience scaling HR operations in a growing organization.

· Proven success leading HR teams and implementing HR strategy.

· Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance.

· Demonstrated experience with recruiting team leadership.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of HR experience in healthcare, ideally home health, hospice, or similar patient-facing environments.

· Experience working within an EOS-run organization or similar operating framework.

· HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP).

Compensation:

$120,000 to $145,000/year

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
