Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Back-End Developer to join the Cyber Security Technology (CST) function within Global Information Security organization at a large financial institution. This team is responsible for innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, deployment maintenance and support of information technology security controls. The teams systems are already created for the Application Security Integration project. From a development perspective, the position requires handling high volumes of data with a relatively small user base, along with applying secure coding practices such as mitigating cross‑site scripting, SQL injection, and implementing proper authentication and authorization. A solid understanding of basic web development concepts, user permissions, and standard secure coding terminology and practices is also expected. The role requires 5 days a week on-site in Denver, CO.

Required Skills & Experience
· 5–6 years of professional backend engineering experience, with a strong focus on building scalable, secure, and high‑performance applications.
· 5–6 years experience with C# with .NET Core Framework v8.0+.
· Skilled in designing and developing RESTful APIs, with a deep understanding of integration patterns and backend service orchestration.
· Strong SQL/PostgreSQL expertise, including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning.
· Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud‑native application development.
· Proficient in unit testing and automated testing frameworks (JUnit preferred; Maven or Gradle builds acceptable).
· Solid understanding of modern integration architectures, distributed systems, and backend best practices.
