Job Description

In this role, you will lead and mature quality engineering and QA processes across our client's ACR organization, ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of complex cloud‑based systems. You will partner closely with application, platform, and engineering teams to drive consistent, high‑quality releases, implementing and tracking release management workflows that support low‑latency, high‑availability environments. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include establishing and overseeing performance testing frameworks, such as stress and load testing, improving overall software, data, and system quality, and managing hybrid onshore and offshore QA operations. You will also oversee software testing environments and labs, provide strategic leadership to QA teams, and continuously evolve quality practices to support the growth and innovation of our client's Automated Content Recognition platforms.

This role is onsite 4x a week in Denver

Compensation for this position is $220,000 to $274,000 annually

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of experience building high‑performance, cloud‑based engineering systems, including 5+ years in senior people leadership roles.
Deep expertise in audio and/or video signal processing, ACR technologies, or content identification systems.
Proven experience designing, scaling, and operating machine learning models for audio, image, or video recognition.
Strong technical foundation in fingerprinting, feature extraction, large‑scale matching, and low‑latency, real‑time systems.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and scalable, microservices‑based architectures.
Demonstrated success leading and developing high‑performing engineering teams while setting technical and strategic direction.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with product, QA, and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with embedded systems, SDKs, or edge computing environments, including Connected TV platforms.
History of contributing to patents, published research, or leading innovation and R&D initiatives.
