Job Description
Occupational Therapists can provide the following services and address the following areas:
-Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Evaluations
-Fine motor delays & hand weakness
-Handwriting delays or difficulties
-Utilize the “Handwriting Without Tears” program for preschool-5th grade
-Difficulty with balance, coordination, and/or timing skills
-Poor motor planning skills
-Poor executive functioning skills; organization, time management, following directions
-Identify sensory processing difficulties
-Teach sensory strategies for calming and focusing your child (regulation)
-Teach emotional regulation (ALERT program, Zones of Regulation, etc)
-Play-based approach to achieving developmental milestones
-Implement multi-sensory learning strategies
-Comprehensive Feeding
-Therapy Evaluations
-Play-based approach to Feeding Therapy
-Parent/Caregiver education within treatment sessions for optimal carryover
-Development of Home Programs and Sensory Diets as needed

Required Skills & Experience
- Home Health experience
- PEDS experience
- Must work a load of at least 23 visits/week
- Licensed therapist (OT/PT/SLP)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Medical experience (instead of school exp., working with medically-involved candidates)
