Job Description
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining strong internal controls. This role manages daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and financial reporting. The Controller ensures compliance with tax regulations, supports audits, and provides timely financial insights to leadership. This role pays up to $90k.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain the general ledger.
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.
Manage payroll processing, tax filings, and 401(k) contributions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
Support project managers with financial insights and tax implications.
Coordinate with auditors and insurance providers for reporting and renewals.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years experience in Accounting/Finance
- 2+ years of experience as a Controller
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- CPA or CMA
- Payroll experience
