Job Description
A small start-up company in Aurora, CO is looking for an RF Engineer/Technician to join their growing team. This company is developing a new type of antenna for specialized DoD applications. These products are unconventional high-power energy delivery systems. The company is growing through grants made by DoD agencies. In this role, you will be focused on prototyping RF equipment, building power amplifiers, tuning antennas, and working with specialized antennas. This is very much a start up company and culture, but are set to do great things. They have received over $2 million in funding from agencies to complete this work, and are anticipating more over the next year.
This is currently a contract opportunity, that will convert pending contract closing in February 2026. The position is fully onsite in Watkins, CO. Required Skills & Experience
Deep understand of how to use RF equipment: VNA's, power meters, standing weight meters, and power electronics
Experience working with antennas; installation, power transmission, tuning
Experience working with RF drivers; 100 watts to 1 kilowatt
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with HF and VHF power systems
