As a DevOps Engineer IV in Platform as a Service (PaaS) for on-premises cloud, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of our PaaS infrastructure, IaaS platforms, cloud management platform, CI/CD pipeline, automation, and tooling. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to design, implement, and maintain a highly available and secure PaaS platform and managed services systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain the service catalog, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for PaaS offerings and managed services tools.
- Focus on Containers as a Service (CaaS) platform, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Implement and maintain Grafana dashboards and data visualizations, particularly with VMWare vROps data.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of PaaS and IaaS services.
- Develop automated processes for incident, problem, and change management in alignment with company policies.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and infrastructure teams to support software deployment and infrastructure updates.
- Configure hardware or virtual machines and perform production installations and upgrades of server and third-party software.
- Participate in capacity planning, performance optimization, and project-related stand-ups.
- Provide documentation support and review external-facing user documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for cloud services support.
- This role actively supports efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Pay range: $65$75/hour, depending on experience.
