Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to be located in the Colorado Springs area. The Software Engineer will be responsible for Java-based software development on the program, performing in-depth analysis and providing technical support for software products. The role involves maintaining, debugging, and configuring software, as well as designing, coding, testing, and integrating system applications. The engineer will interface with other system support groups to resolve issues, set standards, and enhance the efficiency of the operating system. Additionally, the position includes developing automation tools for operations, contributing to various phases of software systems programming, and occasionally requiring guidance for complex tasks.

Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
Secret clearance or higher
3-7+ years of experience in software engineering and development, with proficiency in Java/JEE for enterprise application development.
Familiarity with Java foundation classes, toolkits, and server-side/database development.
Experience working as part of an Agile team, with flexibility to adapt to unanticipated tasks.
Must obtain Security+ or equivalent certification within 60 days of starting.
Proficiency with software development tools such as Git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven or Gradle, and Eclipse.
Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows platforms, software integration testing, and developing automated test scripts.
