Job Description
As a Technical Writer II at a large Telecommunications Client, you will support an internal Lab Operations Support team by creating and maintaining technical documentation related to system engineering, environment maintenance, monitoring, and other infrastructure processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and subject matter experts, to ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with company standards. Your responsibilities will include developing user manuals, process documentation, and technical guides; managing content using tools such as CHALK, Jira, Atlassian Confluence, and SharePoint; and assisting in the creation and maintenance of dashboards to track documentation progress and operational metrics. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
Pay Range: $27-33 / hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

0–3 years of experience in technical writing or a related role
Proven experience with strong documentation, and information / requirements gathering
Experience with Chalk, Jira, and/ or Atlassian tools
SharePoint, MS Office, and/or OneDrive experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with IT or cable/ telecom concepts
