A customer is seeking a highly experienced Epic Ambulatory Consultant to support several high-priority initiatives funded by a recent state grant. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful healthcare transformation projects focused on optimizing clinical workflows and enhancing patient care delivery
- Collaborate with clinical and pharmacy teams to align medication preference lists with formulary and prescribing standards.
- Update and optimize SmartForms to reflect current clinical documentation needs.
- Design and build new fields and data elements to support evolving workflows and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate workflow brainstorming sessions with stakeholders to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
- Translate clinical and operational requirements into Epic build specifications
- Can pay $70-80/h

- 5+ years of Epic Ambulatory experience with demonstrated success in clinical build and optimization.
- Epic certification in Ambulatory (current or recently held).
- Strong experience with:
SmartForms
SmartLinks, SmartTexts, and SmartPhrases
Order sets and preference lists
Flowsheets and Reporting Workbench
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with pharmacy teams and understanding of medication workflows is a strong plus.
