Job Description

A leading aerospace and defense company in Centennial. CO is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - MBSE to join their team As the Sr Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, and management of sophisticated system models and processes to become standard throughout the organization. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deploy model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques, and provide strategic guidance on the most effective models and levels of detail that will yield maximum value for the project. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth systems engineering expertise and a keen understanding of how to leverage MBSE to optimize project outcomes. This is a 6 month contract to hire role.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors degree in System Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principle

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience with network architecture
- OCSMP Certifications
- Exposure to different architectures (Like Navy or Airforce customers)
- Experience and certification in INCOSE standards (ASEP/CSEP)
