A private oil and gas company is looking to hire a JIB Accountant to join their team of 12. This person will be largely in charge of AP coding for intangible drilling and completions, processing invoices to different cost centers, reconciliation, and monitoring AFE's. This person will also assist in month-end close responsibilities and financial reporting as needed. This role will primarily start as a mid-level Accounts Payable role, with the immediate goal to start integrating into JIB responsibilities for the team. This role will work 5 days/week onsite in downtown Denver, with future plans to move the office slightly south. The salary range for this position is between $64,000 - $70,000, based on years of experience and skill level.

2+ years of Accounts Payable experience specifically in the oil and gas industry
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field
Strong skills in an accounting system, such as Enertia, Excalibur, or Bolo
