Top Secret Linux Systems Administrator

Insight Global is hiring for a System Administrators to support a large government prime in Colorado Springs, CO. This is an onsite M-F position and will require a Top Secret DoD clearance with ability to obtain SCI, and willingness to work onsite at base in a secure facility. The Systems Administrator primary duties will include installing, troubleshooting, updating/patching, and maintenance of physical and virtualized environments, lab assets, & IT infrastructure. A candidate will provide support for hardware and software issues, data recovery, system upgrades, software upgrades, configuration issues, system installation and relocation. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with the prime. This role is located on-site daily at Schriever SFB and with no option for remote/hybrid work. Salary Range: $85,000 -- 160,000. Exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. * Active Secret clearance required to start

* Bachelor's degree with 2-9+ years of experience (various levels)

* Experience administering and configuring Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 9)

* Strong Ansible automation experience (ability to build an inventory, create roles and playbooks) This is used for monthly patching, STIG updates, and configuration changes.

* Must have CompTIA Security+ with Continuing Education (CE) or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M

* Networking basics - configuring/maintaining Networking Hardware (Switch, Router, Firewall)

* RHCSA

* RHCE

* Network+ or CCNA

* JIRA / Confluence

* Experience with Bit Bucket and Git

* Experience with DoD STIG interpretation/remediation

* Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory

* Experience in Virtualization technology (VMWare)

* Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
