Insight Global is looking for a Project Support Engineer to support an industry leading oil and gas company in Colorado Springs, CO. This person will be responsible for providing engineering support to 4 Project Managers who execute natural gas pipeline expansion and maintenance CAPEX projects throughout the western US. These projects include, but are not limited to: New pipe and facility construction, Hydrostatic testing, Pipe replacement, MLV installation and Pipe and facility modification.
On a day to day basis, the Project Support engineer will be responsible for initial development and ongoing refinement of detailed project plans from estimate to handoff to Project Manager for execution including:
- Scope development and refinement
- Baseline schedule development
- Develop, compile, consolidate, and document project specific data and decisions for and from various support groups.
- Project support after hand off to the project manager

BS in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Petroleum engineering from an accredited university in the US.
2-10 years of experience within oil and gas or utilities
Experience supporting oil & gas pipeline projects
Midstream oil and gas experience, specifically with pipeline
Experience with the following projects: New pipe and facility construction, Hydrostatic testing, Pipe replacement, MLV installation and Pipe and facility modification
Construction experience (field engineering, etc.)
