The position is designed to be a Project Manager with strong technical background, preferably w. Datacenter experience.
-Gather Client Current Data Center Asset List for pre-migration activities. Lay out plans to migrate servers to new Data Center at target location.
-Review and Document existing client infrastructure environments. Must understand infrastructure relationships between servers, storage, databases, networking and firewall, etc.
-Prepare Detailed VISIO drawings to document existing and future Architecture.
-Prepare accurate status at least weekly to the stakeholders of each project/migration that are assigned.
-Review, Change and Approve Infrastructure Upgrades and modifications by Vendor/Contractor.
-Review Implementation and Testing Plans Pre-and Post-Change Request.
-Liaison between various Business Units and IT department.
-Coordinate with SR Leadership and Technical Teams to provide operations services to the business units
-Chair kick-off meetings to understand client technology needs and timeline.
-Rationalize requests against available resources, capability and schedule constraints.
-Create migration plans
-Closely monitor and track migration teams against plan, budget and compliance.
-Facilitate Change Advisory Board Meetings-Review CR's for Compliance, content prior to review by CAB
-Use Service Now for Change Request and implementation incident creation and Tracking.
