Job Description

An oil and gas company with an office in downtown Denver, CO is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. This person will be a part of the larger team supporting the Rockies region (including production, D&C, and Business units) but will specifically providing support to the Drilling and Completions group. This person will be heavily involved in the analysis of company data, to provide results. They will be using primarily SQL, to develop new queries as well as update existing ones. They will also use PowerBI heavily for visualization. This role is a 6-month contract to hire, with a pay range between $40-$48/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years in a Data Analyst role
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
2+ years experience using SQL, including updating and creating new queries from scratch
Visualization tool knowledge (preferably PowerBI, Spotfire also okay)
General ability to do detailed analysis
Ability to work a hybrid schedule in downtown Denver

Programming skills in Python or R
