The primary duties of this position include a range of scientific, monitoring, and testing services for a variety of environmental projects at locations such as landfills, industrial facilities, power stations, abandoned and operating mines, and communities impacted by emerging contaminants (e.g. PFAS). This position requires a versatile professional that is eager to learn and values the opportunity for professional development through a variety of project assignments .They will also be leading/training a more junior staff team.

5-7 years of experience conducting environmental investigations including groundwater monitoring well installation and sampling, drilling and rock coring oversight, borehole logging and soil sampling, and groundwater treatment system installation and maintenance.
Professional Geologist or ability to attain licensure within 1-2 years.
Ability/desire to train and oversee local field sampling programs and field staff.
Ability/desire to spend up to 80% of time in the field.
Experience preparing environmental investigation workplans, sampling and analysis plans, and groundwater monitoring reports.
This role is looking to pay $35-45/hr
Experience with coal combustion residual sites and associated groundwater monitoring programs
Experience conducting geological and hydrogeologic environmental investigations at mine sites
OSHA HAZWOPER and MSHA training
