Denver, CO - Mobile Device Engineer
The Mobile Device Engineer is responsible for manual and automation testing for the wireless engineering team in a lab at a large telecom company in the Denver Metro Area. This candidate plays a key role in evaluating new technologies and services prior to the integration and deployment into this companies network. The Mobile Device Engineer creates strategic test plans that ensure performance and stability of Wireless products in the companies network ensuring the highest levels of customer and operational satisfaction. You will work with Network Architects to create detailed test plans and certification curriculums, proof of concept trials, and methodologies for analysis of performance criteria. You will debug software and hardware issues in a lab environment, and work with device vendors to track and resolve issues found during testing. Strong knowledge of 3GPP is a requirement for the role, specifically being able to pull cellular logs. Previous testing experience with QXDM is also a major plus for this role. This candidate will also need to be willing to travel and able to do log collections on site. This is a contract through the end of the year with the expectation year long extensions to come and with good performance. There will also be an opportunity for permanent employment with this employer. The client is currently on a hybrid model and asking employees to be on site 4 days a week with 1 day remote. This role will also require some travel for testing in Charlotte, all expenses will be paid while traveling for work.
