Disposables Engineer (Medical Device)

Insight Global is looking for Mechanical or Chemical Engineers for a Medical Device client, located in Lakewood, Colorado. The Engineers will be dedicated to a important project of the client, consisting of two of their medical devices. The engineers will be a part of the clients Research and Development organization, focused on the disposables of these products and they will have the main responsibilities of documentation and verification testing. The engineers will also be responsible for technical writing and design controls while requiring the ability to work in a fast pace environment, juggling multiple tasking at once. The organization requires employees to be onsite three day a week, of their choice. The pay range is expected to be within the hourly range of $40-63/hr, commensurate to experience.

3+ years of relevant experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Regulatory industry experience (Medical device or aerospace preferred)

Familiarity with design controls and how they flow through a project

Experience with verification testing and technical writing

Strong critical thinking and multi tasking skills

Plastics extrusion

Previous experience successfully transferring medical devices all the way through the process
