Job Description

Responsibilities:

-Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize survey tools and data analysis techniques to gather and interpret data.



-Product/Feature Development: Work closely with the product management team to identify and define new product features. Use Agile methodologies to document requirements and prioritize feature development.



-Content and Presentation Creation: Create compelling presentations and marketing materials using PowerPoint and design tools. Develop content that effectively communicates product features and market insights to stakeholders.



-Strategy and Partnership Development: Develop and execute strategies to commercialize the developer platform. Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to enhance platform adoption and growth.



-Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior executives and other key stakeholders. Ensure clear and effective communication of product strategies and market insights.





Why This Role is Critical:

The Business Strategist will play a key role in accelerating the progress and speed of commercializing this Fortune 100 Telecomm Provider's developer platform. This consultant will enable the team to move faster in partner development, pitching the developer platform, and developing/prioritizing new platform features. This position is crucial for reducing current capacity constraints and driving the growth and success of the developer platform.

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:



-Overall Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in identifying and developing product features, conducting market research, and creating content/presentations.



-Technical Skills: Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS), and survey tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics).



-Presentation Skills: Advanced skills in PowerPoint and other presentation software. Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) is a plus.



-Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.



-Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. Experience working with developers, designers, and other stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.



-Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategies to commercialize products. Strong understanding of business processes and market dynamics.



-Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present to and engage with senior executives and key stakeholders.



Pay Rate between 50-65/hr (based on location and experience)

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
