Job Description

A company in Seattle, WA is looking for a Remote GIS Editor / Operator 1 to join their team. This Editor will primarily be responsible for finding and fixing bugs in DEM or water-mask editing. The team will provide all training on how to edit geospatial content and imagery, and the Editor must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and provided documentation, execute multi-step processes, learn and navigate new computer software, and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Required Skills & Experience

- Exposure to GIS tools/imagery

- Strong attention to detail and documentation, and ability to follow detailed instructions

- Experience and ability completing the same task repetitively, with equal accuracy

- Strong experience working on a computer, including the ability to learn and navigate new computer programs

- Excellent communication skills - MS suite (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with geospatial tools/imagery (GIS, DEM, water-mask editing)

- Basic scripting knowledge
