One of our largest healthcare clients is seeking a Tax Analyst to join their team. The Tax Analyst is responsible for gathering information and preparing federal, state and local tax returns. This role serves as a primary contact for tax issues raised by various teams throughout the organization. Assisting in other related projects and research will also be included in responsibilities.
1. Independent preparation of all assigned tax returns in compliance with laws, policies and procedures. This includes Forms 990, 990-T, 1120, 1065, 5227, state income tax, and other tax and informational returns.
2. Primarily responsible for gathering the data necessary to prepare tax filings and coordinating with staff where necessary.
3. Also responsible for tracking the status of tax returns and related notices, refunds, and fees after submission to Federal, State, and Local tax agencies.
4. Prepares tax extensions and estimated tax payments for review and approval in accordance with tax department policy.
The pay ranges between $70,000 - $90,000/year. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
