Insight Global is hiring 2 Drilling Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Site Specialists to join one of the leading energy companies in the world. The role of the HSE Site Specialist is to assist the Wells team in the prevention of Serious Injuries and Fatalities (SIF) through Operational Excellence (OE)--the systematic management of process safety, personal safety, health, environmental, as well as reliability and efficiency risks to achieve world-class performance. This individual provides overall safety leadership in accordance with company and OSHA standards. The HSE Specialist is involved in inspecting drilling rigs to make sure employers are compliant with health and safety regulations and when best practices or gaps are found is responsible for providing feedback to managers and employees to continually improve the culture and safety and wellbeing of the workers.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Safe Operations (development of standards, procedures and in-field coaching), Safe Work Practices, Risk Assessment and Management Review (participate in all levels of risk analysis and provide coaching ie: Start Work Checks, JSA development, HAZOPs.), Emergency Response, Personnel Competency and Training, and Contracting Services & Materials.
