Job Description

One of our largest healthcare clients in Colorado is seeking a Scrum Master to join their agile team and help deliver on one of their key products. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating cross functional collaboration and communication between key stakeholders.



To be successful as a Scrum Master on this team, you should have an eagerness to learn and jump head-first into a new environment. This team values a "go-getter" mentality paired with an understanding of the scrum framework and agile methodologies. Team communication, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities within the greater SAFe environment is key!



Responsibilities:

Lead and guide the team on how to use scrum values, principles, and practices to deliver high-quality products and services.

Plan and facilitate scrum events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos.

Work with the product owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog and ensure that the team has a clear understanding of the user stories and acceptance criteria.

Track and communicate the progress, performance, and status of the sprints using appropriate tools and metrics.

Identify and remove any obstacles or impediments that hinder the team's work or affect the sprint goals.

Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages feedback, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Act as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders, such as customers, management, or external partners.

Provide coaching and mentoring to the team members on scrum best practices and agile mindset.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree

3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master

3+ years of experience in an enterprise level environment

Familiarity with software development tools and technologies such as Jira, Git, Java, etc.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Passion for delivering high-quality products and services that meet customer needs.

CSM Certification
