Job Description

An employer in the Aurora, CO area is looking for an Entry Level Structural Engineer or Junior Structural Engineer to join the team. This individual will be creating designs for mechanical equipment and will design, lay out and detail components and systems. Additional duties include maintaining project drawing files, read shop drawing, and prepare submittal documentation. In addition, the responsibilities entail analyzing and designing platforms and mezzanines, assessing temporary supports and shoring, designing new footings and concrete slabs, designing structural components, conducting FEA for both structural and mechanical elements, and creating shop and GA structural drawings.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (GPA 3.0+ is preferred)



0-2 years of experience drafting/designing (Revit, MicroStation, Autodesk, AutoCAD, MEP)



Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and grow as a Structural Engineer



Classwork in structural analysis or steel structural analysis



Comfortable being onsite M-F in Aurora, CO
