Job Description

An aviation organization in Denver, Colorado is looking too higher a Technical Writer to support Engineering, Certification, and other departments within the organization by preparing new documents and/or revising existing documents. The Tech Writer will assist in documentation control, prepare and proofread documents, and revise existing documents to meet requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical/engineering school

- 4+ years of Technical Writing experience

- 4+ years previous experience with aircraft systems (especially helicopters)

- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Previous experience with CAD software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred)

- Previous experience with MS Project or other schedule software

- General understanding of FAA certification process and requirements preferred
