A large telecommunications client in Englewood, CO is looking for a Network Engineer III to join their growing team. This engineer will be joining the PON Networking group that focuses on the testing and certifying of various PON, EPON and GPON equipment in a lab based environment. On a day to day basis this engineer will be responsible for extensive testing in the lab and will also be performing assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps
Advanced knowledge of the DOCSIS (3.1) and EPON standards
Working knowledge of CMTS platforms including: Vecima (Nokia) 7360 and Distributed Access Architecture SF-4x, SC-2D3
Experience with OLT or ROLT or Fiber to the Home to FTH
Prior Lab and/or Cable or Telecommunications Experience
Ability to write technical documentation
Ability to write and follow detailed technical test plans
