Job Description

A full cycle development and manufacturing Start Up Company in Louisville, CO is looking for a Supply Chain Manager. Culture and leadership style are at the forefront of desired skills, thus we are open to a range of backgrounds and experience. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be expected to ensure a seamless manufacturing operation by coordinating the purchase of all part components and day-to-day logistics to ensure the right merchandise end up at the right location, manage vendor relationships and materials, etc. This includes the planning, purchase, reporting, and tracking of parts, equipment, and machinery for all manufacturing needs. Vendor management, cost optimization, logistics control, and MRP system proficiency will be required.

Lastly, this role will require someone to be comfortable with flexibility. Responsibilities may be adjusted to varying monthly, weekly, and daily needs. Primary responsibilities include;
- Purchasing (from quoting to PO through receiving and invoicing)
- Vendor management (Visiting and maintaining relationships with vendors both locally and nationally)
- Financials (Establishing special terms with vendors, reporting on budgets, inventory, variances, etc.)
- Cost Optimization
- Inventory Control and delivering parts kits to production
- Logistics Control
- ERP/MRP workflow (RFQs, POs, AP, Invoicing)
- Reporting and analysis of overall supply chain needs (Weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly metric reporting)

Required Skills & Experience

- BS Degree with 5-10+ years of relevant management experience in purchasing and supply chain and/or finance in the manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive field
- 5+ years demonstrated, advanced ability to understand, develop, and improve the use of Multiple Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems, including system limitations, is a must
- 5+ years experience/ability to create and track key KPIs
- Experience and ability to perform as a working manager while leading and holding a team of 8-10 accountable to (and to improve) company
- Advanced user of Microsoft or google business applications including similar to Excel, Word, PowerPoint standards
- Technical background with the ability to comprehend mechanical assembly and the nuance between different systems and series of equipment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in transitioning ERP/MRP systems is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 10%
