Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct prospect research to identify and prioritize potential funding opportunities that match the organization's needs and priorities.
Develop and write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept notes, budgets, and other supporting documents for various funders and donors.
Coordinate and manage the submission of grant applications, ensuring adherence to deadlines, guidelines, and quality standards.
Monitor and track the status of grant applications and awards, and communicate updates to relevant staff and leadership.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports, narratives, financial statements, and other deliverables as required by funders.
Maintain and update grant records, databases, calendars, and files in an organized and accessible manner.
Build and maintain positive relationships with funders and donors through regular communication, acknowledgment, stewardship, and feedback.
Collaborate with program staff, finance staff, consultants, partners, and other stakeholders to gather information, data, stories, and feedback for grant proposals and reports.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 7 years (If have Master's Degree can do 4 years) of successful grant writing experience for nonprofit organizations or similar entities. A background in sustainable engineering is also welcome.

Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, persuasive, and professional grant proposals and reports for various audiences and purposes.
Proficient in researching, analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting complex information from various sources.
Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, execute, monitor, and evaluate multiple tasks and projects within deadlines and budgets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with funders, donors, staff, partners, and other stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
