Senior Biomedical Technician maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Program and Denver Health business standards. Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of complex biomedical equipment. The technician may participate in the evaluation and selection of new equipment, accessories and supplies. Coordinates special projects and performs technical tasks. The senior technician provides technical guidance to Biomedical Tech employees in the department. Adheres to instructions and corporate policies, and demonstrates professionalism with integrity in all interactions with customers and staff.
4-6 years Four years Biomedical Technology Military training or other experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment Required or
7-9 years In lieu of an associates degree or BMET Diploma, must have 7 years of relevant experience.
Associate's Degree Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or U.S. Military Biomedical Equipment Technology (BMET) program diploma. Required
